Mechanical Filtration?
What do you guys think is the best way to "polish" pond water? Keeping it crystal clear sort of like in a household fish tank.

A sand and gravel filter works really well, I have a 100 gallon S&G on my pond.

Both setup would help polish your pond. But I would go with an gravity sand gravel filter.

Debris net and brushes collect larger things in skimmer.
Blue Malta mats and Hyacinth in filter trap and polish to gin clear.1300 Gal. Water Garden
