    Mechanical Filtration?

What do you guys think is the best way to "polish" pond water? Keeping it crystal clear sort of like in a household fish tank.

    Sand filter or cartridge filter

A sand and gravel filter works really well, I have a 100 gallon S&G on my pond.

Both setup would help polish your pond. But I would go with an gravity sand gravel filter.

Debris net and brushes collect larger things in skimmer.

Blue Malta mats and Hyacinth in filter trap and polish to gin clear.

The Chagoi in the top picture is about three years old when that picture was taken, she was growing about 8-10" per year and now at five years she is about 37"
