Splayed fin?
What is this? My parrot fish has had this.for about 6 months. It hasn't healed one bit:banghead:

My 16" dovii has a tail that was split bad when i rescued him from a lfs @ 4". It never healed and its been a couple years. Somtimes they just dont heal. But at the same time i have a texas male that had a split in his tail when i got him, didnt think it would heal but after a few months it started to heal. Hope you get lucky and yours heals.

Sorry, ignore my last post just looked at the pic again i thought it was split. Yea the rays will stay like that. Alot of times if their fin is damaged good enough the rays will kind of deform
