Water polishing

Need some help, i have a 45 gallon sump filter with a three draw system comprised of mechanical and two draws of biological.. Im currently running it through pond filters, but i was wondering if there is like a small micron water polishing pad that they make to really polish the water ....

they do. they work pretty well too, at least the smaller ones from aquaclear do. haven't used them for many years though.

are you talking about the aquaclear quick filters? i've used it and works well, not sure how accurate but it is supposed to filter particles down to 1 micron in size. Sure gets dirty fast but that just means it's doing its job
