i've heard that circle hooks set themselves, is this true? and do kahle hooks set themselves as well?

Kahle hooks can also set themselves but not as consistently as circles.

Octopus circles are the way to go for soaking bait. i use 8/0 Octopus circles for surf shark fishing, 9/10 times they set them selves on the initial run and 100% lip hooked.
