i have recently notice some brown leaches in my invertebrate tank. there are no fish in there only snails and shrimp.
does anyone know if these guys are dangerous?
i have seen them eating carnivour pellets. so i am kind of thinking that they are harmless.

Sounds like a leech. I got some in a daphnia culture as well as in my pond and an outdoor scud culture. I have seen them eating/killing snails. They will prey on invertebrates. I have not seen them harm fish but I don't think it is out of the question. What I understand is, they will suck blood, swell up, then fall off. I don't think it is enough to actually kill fish. Fish will eat them though.
