Never mind... you will only be entered into a drawing for a raffle to win a $200 gift card.

Just a promotional effort to keep trying to reduce the population. It probably will not make any headway into eradicating the snakehead, but it certainly won't harm the efforts. It's an offshoot of the Maryland Fishing Challenge. Simply a drawing for people who enter their catch on the MDNR's Angler's Log.

    Catch 'em.
    Post it online.
    Eat 'em.

It's all win. Dinner and possibly a sweet giftcard? yes please.

Did nobody else notice that the article said snakeheads come from Africa? The species that is a problem in Maryland comes from Asia, not Africa...

21 tanks including: Saltwater Predator, Saltwater Reef, Flowerhorns, Lots of CA/SA cichlids, Blood Parrots, african cichlids, various catfish, turtles,a tortoise, 5 geckos, CWD, Beardie, MHD, Basilisk, 4 types of PDFS, an axolotl, tiger salamander, 3 parakeets, and 4 English Bulldogs.

Mistake on their part but moot just the same since all snakehead species are deemed unwelcome in the U.S.
