fin damage help

one of my cichla got fin damage..the fins looked like they were out of water n dried up like..not sure if that makes sense or not..had this happen before during a fish shipment i got threw fed ex..any advice on i can help the fins repair??

Could be ammonia burns or fin rot. But i cannot say for sure w/o pics or water parameters! Test your water for nitrite nitrate ph and ammonia, that will give you the basics and also are there any tank mates that bully this particular guy?
