Seachem Prime vs Seachem Safe
I am planning to switch over from Seachem Prime to Seachem Safe. I just want to save a little bit of money. The only drawback I see is that Safe does not have that slime coat stuff that protects the fishes. Seachem Safe is a lot cheaper thou. What are your views?

They're the same IMO but Safe is just a lot cheaper. You don't really need the slime coat anyway unless you handle your fish a lot or they fight a lot, all the slime coat will do is buildup on them otherwise

My understanding is it's just a powder version of Prime without stability agents. Had a thread on it a while back...
