My growouts won't eat pellets.
I have a 40g setup with 3 breidohri and 2 geophagus brasiliensis all fish 2-3.5 in, and I cant seem to get them to eat pellets Ive been trying the 1mm nls pellets
which are more than small enough for them to eat. They attempt to eat but just spit it back out and then they eventually give up. How can I get these guys on pellets?
p.s. Ive been feeding them bloodworms, and flakes.

Try soaking the pellets in a jar of tank water fore a few minutes before you feed them, the pellets might just be too hard

try different pellets. most of my fish don't care for NLS. bloodworm juice may work.

They will all eat soon enough. Once they are eating the presoaked pellets slowly wean them onto the pellets with less & less presoaking. Eventually they will take the pellets right out of the jar.p.s. Ive been feeding them bloodworms, and flakes.
I've yet to come across a fish that I could not train to eat NLS, with the exception of a juvie Mbu puffer.

Starve them. Dont feed them anything for a week or two. They will be fine. Theyre not gonna die. Then give them pellets after that. This is effective
