As in gender? It appears to have the furry little filaments that males have on their rear "legs," so I'd say that it's a male.Any ideas of exactly what he is.
Ah, okay. There aren't any different subspecies of SALs; they're all just Lepidosiren paradoxa.Yes he does. But I referring to exactly what he is. Is there only one variety of sals?
nice sal. looks like it is about 20". it is insane how they go from that leech into the beasts that never stop eating! mine is always eating or looking for scraps.
I have mostly piranha but also have the sal,a serial killer dat,dovii,Oscar,p-bass are farmed out at my bros, & had a 14" gatf till my dat decided no more roommates outta the blue. Sal is 26"+ not 20". You can tell he's considerably bigger than 20" just from pics.
