I have a 6" dat who loves feeder comets from my lfs and 6 babies (2 adolescent) and they love brine shrimp. How can I put them on pellets to ensure better color and be free of parasites?
+1 I will normally starve them until they jump on board, I have an NGT who refuses to eat pellets but loves frozen shrimp, its alot better than live feeders though. In my experience I've found that having them in tanks w/ tank mates that hit pellets hard helps, fishy see fishy do. In the case of my 2 ST's they've proven to be stubborn so I feed them cut up market shrimp and tilapia fillets hoping that one day they will learn from their tank mates.
well ive been asking mine nicely for oh about 25 days now......its not workingAsk them nicely! If they don't comply, starve for a week and try again!
Comet goldfish are almost worse then no food.....

HARDCORE......love ityou are the boss feed what you want not what the fish wants
it can take up to 6-8 weeks of no food for them to take pellets
dont starve just feed the tank with pellets daily EAT OR DIE
