So my mum wants a special present for her 55th birthday. She does not seem to have much luck with her current tank. It is (guesstimating - but not far off) a 4ft by 1.5ft by either 2.5 or 3ft.
I am getting a stock list off her tomorrow night. But I know it has a Fox Face, Sandshifting Goby, a Dragon Wrasse, Male & Female Bird Nose Wrasse and some others.

I want to add a centrepiece fish, or a few centrepiece fish. I would like something that is native to the great barrier reef. Possibly a unicorn fish, or maybe 2-3 other smaller fish that may school together.

A few that I am looking at include:
Bluestriped Fangblenny
Yellow Shrimpgobies
Bignose Unicornfish
Surge Wrasse
Bicolor Parrotfish(male&female if possible)
Emperor Angelfish
Harlequin Shrimp
Goldlined Rabbitfish

Does anyone have any input or suggestions on what to add?

Emperor's are pretty... lol. And I think harlequin shrimp are the ones that only eat starfish...So keep in mind the possible expense of feeding it...And other than that, I'm useless...lol. Best of luck though!

Check online for reccomended tank sizes for the fish on that list. Unicorn tangs get LARGE and would need a bigger tank very soon. And the Emperor Angel will not be happy in that small of a tank either.
