Don't feed him live this is the time to get him on frozen foods. I had a 2ft smooth hound shark and he ate frozen cubes.

Newly hatched Banded cat sharks are hard to get to eat after hatching I use to have one. but I bought established so if you cant get it to take any thing frozen. try live ! Like ghost shrimp or small rosy minnows. After there established they'll eat any thing

    First off congrats.
Second, every fish you listed other than the foxface is a danger to that shark... I'd move him or them.
As for the feeding, don't feed him right away. It can cause issues. Just prior to hatching young bamboo shark pups (it's not a catshark) will absorb the rest of the yolk sac and live off of that for the first few days.

The fish store where we bought everything from said that they should be fine because their babies and they'll grow with the shark. So far there's been no issues.

this is the downfall of every new fish keeper..."the fish store said"...the fish store who wants you to keep coming back and buying more...I have no helpful advice as i have no experience with salt water..other than to listen to the highly experienced and knowledgeable people on this forum who are here to care for fish and improve their lives not sell them. ..^_^

just my thoughts...and its really cute..congrats on hatching it I hope all goes well.

Seach your shark on you tube you'll find them with lots of other predator fish. Let us know what you get it to eat I have always wanted to hatch a egg but never wanted to take the $60 chance. If it works for you I might try it
