i currently have a florida gar in a 100 gallon tank it is 5 inches,i want to start breeding florida gars in the tank.could you guys please tell me the size of the tank that i need to house the gars when they grow to full size adults,and let them live comfortably.

I would read through all the sticky's. there is lots of info that will help you out.
Make sure there is lots of plants floating in that size tank with a small fish. Gar are susceptible to injury when the have enough speed to shoot into glass (broken back).
As for breeding, start planning a pond.

Pretty much all natural gar breeding in captivity has been done in decent-sized ponds.
