my old man scores at least 1-2 tanks bi-weekly, he works in the "waste mangement" business and apparently people throw tanks away like crazy, In box with filters and everything all the stuff really needs is a good wash. its really a shame how many people go into pet stores buy complete starter set-ups then fustrated when thier fish die they toss the tank out.

I think alot of people don't want to deal with trying to sell them figuring there aren't fish geeks like us that would buy them.

But good steal on the tanks, free is always the best price.:)

Free tanks are always irresistable. So are dirt cheap ones. I even take them if they are scratched to oblivion and have lime deposits permenantly etched into the glass from top to bottom. Nice to have around to use as quarantine, hospital, growout, future sump (etc. etc. for infinity).
