I've had a 12" fh with a 12" oscar with no problems at all in a 265. If they have room to establish territories it can work

It's possible, but a little risky. Behavior is not a standard, but a guess. See what it is kept with at the lfs. If it is in tanks with less aggressive fish, it might work.

Flowerhorn could kill the Oscar if it's big enough. In a large enough tank they could co-exist:) I've seen it in tanks 125 gallon or larger.

i tried my fh in a 150 n it punked everything. then i tried the fh in my oscar tank which was a 30gal tank and mayhem was the outcome. im gonna try her again in the 400gal with a lil structure areas for her to have fun in. hopin she can live in peace with all the xtra space.
