I saw a doc on this a few years ago and they said that sharks fins dont even taste of alot. its just sad to see animals wiped out for no reason. its like the way they use animal parts in meds that dont even cure u.

This really makes me sad to be human. How can people not see the issue with this? 90% of large sharks are gone? That is so bad.

That's real sad!! What's up with that? Even if there was an international ban on eating shark fins, it would probably just stop happening here in the states, but no where else.

On behalf of all Canadians, thanks a lot Mr! You think Canadians are ok with this, well were not, there are a lot of other countries not ok with it too, but hey Americans are better than everyone else right!

+1. Normally I'm pro America but I just cand stand it when some of you guys go around thinking the rest of the world are barbarians.
Back to topic, I hate to see this. Why don't they just take the whole shark? There are more than enough people on this world that would gladly buy it for a smaller shark and not care about if it tastes as good as the fins.

We don't think the rest of the world is barbarians. Most countries don't hold the same standards as each other, compare fish that are banned in the US that are legal in Canada.
