I would like to know the name not the abbreviation I see this fish on the forums but don't think ever in the LFS.

In that case it looks like either a Datnioides pulcher-Siamese tiger fish-ST or Datnioides microlepis-Indonesian tiger-It...Do you have any more pictures of this fish?

It's not really all that rare for IT to have three bars, even on both sides of the body, and it's how the stripes look, not just how many that differentiates the species....I am now looking at the picture on a bigger screen than my phone has and am almost certain that the fish is a Datnioides pulcher aka ST OR Widebar.

I agree with Krichardson. Based on what I read, the bars on IT are at 45 degree angle, ST they are straight. This is ST. This is a message from someone who has never seen an ST in real life.
