Which is better a 120 gallon or 125 gallon?

Hey don't post here much so sorry if I'm in the wrong tread but I plan on upgrading to either a 120 gallon 49" x 25" x 26" or a 125 gallon 73" x 19" x 24".
Just wanted some opinions on what tank would be better or which could I house a wider rage of fish? I'm also not sure what I wanted to put in it so I'm open to all stocking ideas! Thanks in advance and I hope to hear at least few peoples opinions

Well I don't know wht I want to put in it yet so just wanted to know which I could fit a wider variety of fish in. idk what's more important the width or the length of the tank in general.

Thanks for the quick responses! Ya I was leaning toward the 125 also but found a 120 near me for sale so I was just wondering. What are some stocking ideas?

So can I do any kind of rays in a 120 gallon for life? If so what's the hardiest? Best for a beginner?
