Green Moray

I don't know if anyone is interested in it or not, but I know a LFS that has had a green moray for about 2 years now. He's about 2 feet long and has been living in an 18" x 18" tank for those 2 years, after someone left him on the doorstep of the store. I feel really bad for him having to be cooped up in such a small tank, but I really have no place to put him, and I doubt my parents would let him into the house. Eels spend a lot of their time curled up, and a 18" by 18" tank isn't too bad compared to being in someone's tank who doesn't want it.

That is so sad, I wish I was closer, I would take him. I can't believe he is only 2 feet in 2 years, these are massive eels and really need at least a 500 gallon tank to thrive. My 3ft Fimby is always stretch out along the bottom of the tank and really enjoys what I call brief bit of exercise (he does about a lap or two a day) in our current 6ft tank, we are building a 500ish gallon 10ft plywood tank so we can get another larger eel.
