I love sharpnose. The downside is they do best in groups. I've never been able to keep a healthy single animal very long.

Yes- the Sharpnoses are wonderful "little" requiem sharks. But they also require alot of space for their size. I've never heard of anyone being successful in the long term(at least 2-3 years) - who didn't have tank/pond with a footprint of at least a 500 sq.ft, and 15,000 gallon volume. And like Zoo said - they do best when kept in groups.
Atlantic Sharpnose sharks are fairly high strung, active sharks. And really should only ever be kept by very experienced shark aquaristsShark & Ray Central
