lol, the vid was sweet because it was straight to the point. We didn't have to sit around for 10 mins to see him grab it.

Yea they do. You have to be careful though because their aggression spikes as they are supposes to normally be at cooler temps. No judgement dont worry
its a good question. A few keepers here keep them at higher temps, and then wonder why they are so aggressive.....i will never push my temp past 78 the happier the fish is the happier I am! Mines growth is still pretty good

Picture update. Goonch has grown about an inch since first post
maybe a little more! Fat and healthy though!!! I keep him well fed on Rosie reds and he also likes the sinking carnivore pellets!

Constant weekly food source helps both the goonch and the gator gar achieve maximum growth potential while not compromising the fishes health with unneeded temperature raises. I feed the Rosie reds for two days before tank introduction. I do this in a holding bucket and feed them crushed sumo red to optimize nutritional value when consumed.

What size is it?
"Only after the last tree has been cut down.
Only after the last river has been poisoned.
Only after the last fish has been caught.
Only then will you find that money cannot be eaten.!"
