I have a halfmoon betta in his own 3g tank with a lone male guppy. The guppy has heavily nipped fins but is otherwise fine. I was wondering if I could move the betta to my 20g high with a dozen firegreen tetras, a half dozen cory cats, an electric blue german ram, and a dwarf jewel cichlid. Keep in mind the tank is soo extremely heavily planted that you can't see anything inside. I would estimate some 200+ watersprite plants some of which are over 1 ft in diameter, 2 HUGE mother anubias, A decent sized tiger lotus, some duckweed, and a pothos plant in the hob filter for nitrates. So their are plenty of hiding places. Because of all the plants my nitrates in this tank aren't registered on any of my master test kits.

Can I add the betta?

I actually kept 2 male bettas together in a similar setup just to prove it could be done.

Only 3g?
No to the guppies, maybe shrimp. How about an african dwarf frog?

I would've thought that the jewel cichlid could cause trouble but I'd go with the more experienced people:thumbsup:
