Great looking cat bro! One of my favorites mostly because of how active mine was, unlike most cats wasn't really a hider and he grew like a weed. I regret selling him, but at the time I was overstocked and looked to move the biggest fish I had at the time and he was up there with a Marbled Achara, RTC/Shovel Hybrid and Pterodoras granulosus. Good luck with him bro, can't wait to see some size on him it's rare to see a pic of one grown out.

Thanks! I hope to grow it out huge, but in Montana the winters bite hard and you never know when you might get a power outage. Sux because usually lose some fish when it does. He ate some floating cichlid pellets, krill, shrimp, and silversides today. guess he was ready for a full meal today lol. Here's some pics of him sitting happy with a full belly.

Hmmm after posting the new pics I think I might have to check his eyes more closely when I get home. Seems he may have a touch of popeye. Wouldn't surprise me considering the high PH mountain well water at my place. I also noticed that he came in missing the center set of barbels on the lower jaw. There are nubs and also compared his cauldal to those of others and seems the outer edges are missing. He may have had a touch of FTR. Gonna do a precautionary treatment on this tank.

Man I over react to new fish lol. Definitely has some of the FTR with the missing wiskers though. Here's a pic taken right after the one that looks like he has popeye. Obviously there was something in the background on the other pic.

Ok here is the latest vid I have of the vulture! He was just cruising the tank the night of his acclimation. I was trying to get a vid of him pigging out earlier, but of course I turned on my cam to a dead battery!!!!!
