I have a few questions. I currently have a 12" FLG in a 90 gallon growout tank. I have 1 emperor 400 HOB... I really want to get another FLG, just a little smaller than the one now. Is this a hood idea or should I get more filtration if I get another fish? Also does it affect my fish if i randomly get new lighting and filtration? I don't think it should matter but always feels better hearing from more people about it... Thanks!

I'd recommend getting a canister or like filter that you can have more biological filtration. I know my 3 FLG in a 150g tank with 1 fluval 403 isn't cutting it. I do two large water changes a week. I'm putting one if my eheim 2260's on instead. Large predators make large messes. This is just my opinion of course on filters.
