Been a long time since I updated (sorry!) and since I have some photos collected now I thought I'd do a nice big post. =)
Tadpole is doing spectacularly, and is regrowing his fins quite well! I was really worried for a while and they were growing back curled but about a month ago all the new growth uncurled and he's looking great. Still a bit to go but I'm really happy with the progress.
Also, two weeks ago I got a new baby! I didn't want Tadpole to be all on his own (FOREVER) so I purchased a second AUL as his (and my) x-mas present this year. The new baby has been named Toad, and she's adorable (I know, I have no idea the sex but I just picked female so I didn't have to call her 'it'). She's much more active than Tadpole and still quite skittish but eats like a horse. They're eating mostly Massivore but also a homemade mix that I make for them (spinach, spirulina, garlic, shrimp, mussel, salmon, squid and agar agar to hold it all together), algae wafers, life crayfish and shrimp.
