Hi everyone, I was thinking about setting up a 20 gallon salt tank and was wondering how many gph I would need for circulation.

Hydor korillia EVO 550gph or possibly the 750, insane sale right now man, can't beat these prices http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=23592

Awesome circulators too, I have the 1400 in my tank, its a thing of beauty.

The rule of thumb is 10x for softies, 15x for lps and 20x for sps. So 200gph,300gph and 400gph. A 550 is overkill

Stay away from the Koralia Evolution models. They have major problems in that they will end up running backwards. I bought eight and now six of them only run backwards, and the last two alternate directions when turned on and off.
