You will see it resting from time to time. Very normal thing to have happen. Based on the size of the yolk sac, you have awhile to wait before it hatches.
Only if there happens to be a full moon when it pops out.
They'll hatch when they are developed enough to survive.~Matt

I haven't seen it for a few hours, but when I saw it this morning it was barely moving. It looked like it was resting on the yolk and would make an occasional twitch.
Right now the yolk is about as big around as a nickel or so, and the embryo is maybe an inch long and as thick as a toothpick, so I'm not sure how much longer it will be. I'm assuming 5-7 weeks but I have no clue honestly

Probably closer to 7 than 5. You'll see a full 'shark pup' smashed inside and no yolk at all right before it hatches. The stripes will be very clear and you can even see gill slit movement.

Still no movement at all today other than the occasional twitch. I tried touching the egg and it wiggled for a minute and went back to not moving again.
Should I still not be concerned?

It hasn't moved whatsoever all day and is starting to look a little pale. It doesn't seem like this would be normal

How easy or common is it to kill one of these little guys? Because I'm starting to think it might be dead.
