I wouldn't worry yet. Give it time.

I don't know man, I'm pretty worried. I'm 99% sure it's dead, but I'm just leaving it alone

I tried taking pics and it doesn't really work. You can't see inside the egg in a pic. Only the egg itself

looks like you got a pretty good shot still to me. My lfs gave me an egg for free and it looks alot more dead than your does lol..if it were dead it would be slimy/green and very hard to see through. I've also read it should raise the PH in the tank if its dead. Not certain but im pretty sure it can take up to 80 days to hatch.

The inside is nothing but mush. Everything looks like it's decomposed and rotten. I tried touching the egg again, and a big cloud of white stuff came out of a hole in the egg.
So, I think I've confirmed it's dead

Hi, I noticed that you are using sandwich bag ties to in your tank. That would be toxic to fish and is a good way to contaminate and kill everything in your tank. The only metal you can use in salt water is titanium. Not even stainless steel. In the future, nylon tie wraps are safe to use and are inexpensive.BENTHICSHARKS.COM
