I'm getting my 92g corner tank back up and running. It is almost done cycling. I want to stick to a community tank with a SA/CA cichlid focus. Don't mind stepping up the aggression a bit but not looking for mass bloodshed.

Thoughts?

Severums for the middle, geos for the bottom, and a bunch of schooling fish.
Thanks for the reply.

That's basically what I had before, though I had Geo. Brasiliensis - which are more like traditional SA cichlids. I wanted to try something a little different.

Do you a harem of red hump geos and a pair of Blue Acaras (or Convicts) would hold their own with a centerpiece like a Texas or Green Terror? Or would the breeding fish be too stressed to breed?

If you can get a female green Texas they tend to max out at 8" and are on the peaceful side as far as cichlids go and they basically just sit in the front of the tank all day watching you lol
