So i just started a 55 gallon today i have starter fish in there right now looking for suggetions on some Predatory fish that can live in a 55 Gallon. I am wondering if i could do freshwater barracudas. In there if anyone could let me know or give me some good ideas on fish that i can keep in there. I have done pirahanas and my dad has 2 red wolf fish so kinda looking for something different from those

I've suggested a small school of red-bellied piranha. Another thing to consider, Coffeeman here very well may use this 55g as a "growout tank", so he's entertaining suggestions for something that is a slow grower that he can house in this 55 for several months while he's kicking back funds for something larger. Given that...thoughts? Just trying to help him out getting some suggestions here.

you could do 2 freshwater cudas they do not grow big. They are insainly active always swimming circles and are fun to watch. I have experience owning these fish so I know what im talking about. Also mabey get a school of silver dollars It will look cool.

Cool...got a lead on a LFS here that specializes in exotic critters...they're going to see what it would cost to order a couple of different species for us, so it might be a good way for us to support them and check out some other cool fish as well.
