Why not just dig up some worms from your garden? Never tried them myself but earth worms in general are great.
They're great! All my fish seem to love it. I'm sure your catfish would live them.

They are a great fish food. There is a lot more then earthworms in them. Everything from my clown loaches to silver dollars to some of my rays will eat them. Been using earthworm sticks for over a year, the fish can't get enough of them.
