I'm going with Chrysichthys sp. as well. Maybe C. punctatus. There is a reason people confuse these with Ictalurus sp. They even give similar species names for several of the species. Agreed fish does have some strange morphology, but that's what I have thought every time I have seen Chrysichthys cats.

I saw one in a display tank in Macdonalds with african cichlids. Almost lost my appetite! lol

Thanks for replies! You are right it is one ugly fish lol! Looking at it in the flesh I can agree it is definitely an aluminium cat so thanks for that! Think it is just very deformed... It can't even close its mouth. Also are they known for being extra aggressive? As this one is having a go at everything lol.
Million dollar question... Is it worth anything? Lol

Yes, it shows abnormalities. Most definitely an African big-eyed cat / Aluminum cat.
Mine are not aggressive.
They are not costly. 3"-ers are about $10.
