Please help me find a Leiarius pictus, painted catfish in the uk
I have been hunting for 1 of these beauties for almost 2 years now and nobody can get me 1! I have tried specialists, wholesalers and Internet and still no luck
I would like 1 under 10 inch if possible, let me know if you have seen 1 of have any ideas where else I can look. Thanks

Have you tried speaking to wharf aquatics? Richard there is a catfish specialist and they are normally quite good at rare fish/ first time uk imports

Thanks for the fast reply
I had seen that on there and I am very tempted but my new tank isn't built yet and i think at that size it would eat 90% if my other fish if they was to share a tank :/ hard to know what to do..

agree with wharf richsrd is ok on cats also try wildwoods there good at getting requested cats and its nice to start with a juvenile and grow it yourself

Try wharf then mate they have a good catfish and oddball stock and very knowledgable staff
They've found me everything I've asked for in the past
Best fish shop in the uk in my opinion
I waste way too much money there lol

Have seen some big ones 15" plus in a aquatic shop in bethnal green London but was a hefty price tag on them believe around £180
