I hand feed my 12" RTC, tilapia fillets, shrimp, mice, feeders (not for much longer, I finally have my Gar trained to accept prepared foods, so no leftover feeders).
I usually feed him every other day, sometimes every 2.
He's a happy happy kitty!

Also... Worms.. bloodworms, nightcrawlers, grubs. All the gas stations around me carry fish bait (i.e. worms, etc.) and they are fairly cheap. 30 nightcrawlers cost maybe $2. They seem to love em... well they all do, my oscar loves em too!

As long as she's not loosing weight then she is getting enough food, and yea that diet is ok, I personally like to vary it as much as I can like big worms, shrimp, krill superba, frozen then thawed fish (now and then I cut their belly open and stuff it with mild paprika, they love it and it brings the red colour out really well
) massivore delight and occasionally like once a month I give him defrosted mice, chicks or beef heart but I have heard that this can be bad if fed to often that's why it's only occasionally.

Oh and hand feeding is really good as long as your not stressing her out, the more interaction you have the better as long as it doesn't cause stress.
