Leopard Cactus or Blue Phantom?
Hello! It has been a while since I have had to call on the MFKs forum services which means things have been running as they should. I am looking at getting an exotic pleco, which are hard to come by where I live. Two have come my way at the same time. Which would you choose if you were picking for yourself?

Honestly, L114 is harder to come by than L128 but I love both

I'd choose the blue phantom, I'm actually looking for one but any rare Plecos are hard to come by in my area.

Why can't you buy th both? I would pick the leopard cactus personally. But don't let someone make the decision for you. Pick the one you really can't keep fish keeping with out being able to say you've owned

The reasons why I'm not thinking of getting both right now is because they are a bit pricey and I would want to make sure that one is settled before adding the other.

Those are both awesome plecos, but I'd grab the cactus because you shouldn't have a problem finding another blue phantom later on

Yeah I was kind of leaning towards the cactus for the same reasons people have mentioned. I just gotta make the call to my fish guy and hopefully he can give me a deal. Asking price is about $100 -$135. Fairish price?

If you eventually want to have both in the tank, I would get the blue phantom first. I think they're less aggressive than the L114. I would worry about an L114 being introduced to the tank first, establishing the whole tank as its territory, and being intolerant of the blue phantom.

Id get the l114 also, if u have big enough tank, u shouldnt have any teritorial issue, the only problem ive had with agressiveness of plecos are towards their own kind, in my experience
