Ideas on hooking fx5 with another or through a nu clear filter?

I have a 180 gallon at the moment running with one fx5, I need more filtereation. I am thinking of running another fx5 to the tank but wondering is there a way to run one through the other to not have too many hoses in the tank? Also thinking about running an fx5 through a nu clear filter and back into the tank. Are fx5 strong enough to do that?

If there are anyone out there running two fx5 on on one tank or have a tank with multiple fiterations running on a single tank and was able to keep it clean looking I would really like o learn and see your setup.

    Much appreciation and thanks.

Your right that actually don't sound too bad now that I'm thinking about that .i guess I'm also looking for a way to make it not so crazy with hoses in the back and underneath in my stand.
