Humidity with a sump questions.
Hey folks, so I have a couple questions about running a sump in a stand as I am new to sumps. I plan to build a stand soon for a pond I am building. I plan to keep the sump covered as much as possible to help keep the internal humidity down. Would it be at all a good idea coat the interior of the stand with a moisture resistant paint ?
I am considering building in walls into the interior of the stand. The stand will contain a 40 gallon sump, a 20 gallon reservoir, and a DIY incubator. Walls for the compartments would be a luxury. But does anyone think that this would increase the rate of decay for the stand?
Or am I just being paranoid about the humidity harming the stand in the long run?
Thanks!
