I think they are all good really. I use Quiet One 6000's on my 300 and they've been great pumps. Can be run inline or submersible. Mags are good but a little less efficient than the Q1's. Every one will have favs, but mine are the Q1's for submersible and Reeflo's for inline.
Never used a Laguna so I cant way in in that one

Just an fyi. Did some research and found out that prime affects the nitrate reading of the api test kit they recommend waiting 24 to 48 hr's before testing after the addition of prime.
