What brand of digital thermometer?
Does anyone have any recommendations on an inexpensive digital thermometer? I'm tired of using those crappy LCD strips on the outside of my tanks. They never seem to work well.

I recommend using the 10–20$ your going to spend and just buy a heater controller, that way you have an accurate temp and a fail safe for your heaters. Dr fosters. Com has free shipping on 50$+

This looks pretty nice, however I wouldn't say it's inexpensive.

This is the best option I totally agree
I have had German made Jäger (supposedly good heaters) heaters fail on me.
Lost my fahaka and cried like a baby.
Now I don't use heaters just have a warm fish room.
If I go back to needing heaters I use a controller. Plus you don't need to dish out crazy coin on the heater a cheapy will do

I paid 5$ for my digital thermometer by coralife at my generally overpriced lfs. It even came with a suction cup, a celcius/Fahrenheit option, and a reset, off button.

$20 infrared temp gun. Pretty accurate and I can use it on all my tanks.

Probably me cuz I've been doing it since I kept fish, used to use em for cooking, there ideal for changing water making sure both temps match up.
