Came home to find this guy on the wrong side of the overflow. He is about 9 inches so needless to say it was quite a hassle to get him out

Well I couldn't net him because the two overflow pipes were in the way. So I used the net handle to get him to swim to the top of the water. Then I calmly slid my hand in and pulled him out.

Mind you, this was after 200 failed attempts to get him to either jump out on his own or to hook him with the loop on the net handle. So by the time I used my bare hand he was pretty tired and calm enough to pick up.

I'm really lucky he made it into the overflow because in order to get in there he would have had to jump out the 2 inch hole at the top of the tank and over into the the overflow....

I knew I should have setup a webcam on my tank
