I didn't know where to post this, does anyone know about this algae? Its white and hard to scrape off. The tank is also growing a nasty brown scum algae. The tank is on the opposite facing wall from a big window that the blinds get opened up about every day. Lighting on the tank is 3 par38 led bulbs 6500k white color.

Also running a drip system on the tank. Roughly 1gph.
Any ideas on how to get rid of this crap?

thats a thought, but the driftwood doesnt have any white on it? after 15 years of keeping aquariums ive never seen this. this is on my grandmothers tank and its filthy my apologies but ive been fighting a losing battle on the brown and now white algea on her tank. i was thinking about adding some pathos to the sump and then some aquarium plants like anubius or something. could this possibly help?
