He is the same in behavior and attitude, the tank conditions aren't changing and yet he can look quite a bit different even hourly. He by all measures seems to be a very happy guy. No matter what his color tone is he will eat the same feeders in the same fashion. I've all but blown this off myself because he has givin me no reason to worry. The wife is worried and prompted me to post this just to be on the safer side. Is this normal? Thanks again guys, gotta love it here.

Dr. Solomon on our gar forum once said Florida/ spotted gar can have lighter color at night than day(if I remember it correctly), and all my gars do change to a lighter color when night fall.

When the light is off my Gar loses his color and 15-30 minutes later with the light on the color is back... Don't worry it is fine
