Calcium on tank

I was just given a bow front tank but it is covered in calcium pretty much unusable does anyone know a good way to clear large amounts of calcium off a used tank

get the gallon jugs & do vinegar soaks, & spray rinses.

I had a friend tell me to use CLR and it worked perfectly the tank looks brand new now I have to make sure I get the chemicals rinsed out really well and let it sun dry

Not very much I let the tank soak in water for a sec drained then I took a sponge with the scrubby side put a little on sponge scrubbed rinsed and repeated a few times
