Came home today and one of my Blood Parrots, Ziggy, had died. I saved him from Walmart almost 3 years ago to day. I would go to his Walmart every weekend for a month and each time I would stop by and check his tank. Each week he would look more and more pathetic. After about a month he was very stressed out and infested badly with ick, said screw it and took him home. He was always the runt of my Parrots but he always had this dumb smile on his face which always made me smile. He had a fairly deformed mouth, even by parrot standards so eating was always a chore with him but he always managed. About a week ago he started looking weak and today when I got him I found him stuck to my circ pump. He was an awesome Parrot and he will be missed. People love to hate on them because they are ugly or a hybrid but seem to forget that they are no less a fish because of it. They can be just as much loved as any other fish if you give them the chance.
