Hey guys,

Long time since my last post. Was out if fish keeping for a few years and got back into it about 2 years ago. I currently have a 150, 125, and 90 with assorted Peacock Bass (7 piquiti, 3 kelberi, 5 orinos, 5 pinima). Space is getting very limited to say the least and I was super lucky to pick up a 10x3x2 ~450 gallon tank at a great price which I will be setting up in a few months.

For filtration I have decided to run a big wet/dry for oxygenation as well as biological filtration and also want to run a bead filter for biological/ mechanical filtration. I have been doing some research, but I don't know which brands are reputable and if some far outperform others. I am on a budget, but don't want to get a filter simply based on the price.

Thanks for any and all help,

Mike

How much did u want to spend?
I picked up a ultima 11 4000 on Ebay for $800. I haven't used it yet, but my research led me to buy it. Seems to be a great bead filter
