Keep monitoring your ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite levels. Give your tank some time to build up beneficial bacteria. If your levels remain constant, adding another fish will be fine.

How long did the tank cycle? Mine cycled for only 3 months, but it wasn't a brand new tank. It was an established tank that we transplanted to my home.

3mo to initially cycle that's gotta be some kinda record -

Add fish when nitrates are 20ppm or less
Like I said, not really the initial cycle. I moved EVERYTHING, water and all, to my house. I left a few snails and crabs in there for the 3 months while I monitored the levels. I had a few spikes during that time, but the third month was steady going so I added fish after that. I feel like I rushed, but my current inhabitants are happy.
