hey guys got this little guy from a trusted vendor over here, just want the real ID he labeled it as a Erythrinus Sp Peru

looks like a peru to me! Wait until it's a bit bigger for 100% ID.

Erythrinus for sure, when mine was just a wee one like yours, he had much more bright colouring to him. Who knows, it probably is.

Keep in mind that Erythrinus sp. Peru is not a scientific name, just a loose umbrella term for Erythrinus species from a certain region.

there are 5 known subspecies.

It would be interesting to see the other ones made available, maybe they have already under the two subspecies that we use in the private market?

I see some purple coming in the fish there, should be nice looking when it grows up. I would be happy with the purchase!
