Just started my first 90 gal Salt, have always done the fresh in the past. Is it a good idea to run a UV Sterilizer on a 90 Salt that was started up 1 week ago? Appreciate any insight you can provided.

Well there are pro's and con's to UV filtration, so it's basically up to you.

Personally, I would allow a new tank to run for a few weeks without it, but it's not the end of the world if you do it now.

I still haven't gotten my UV sterilizer setup. It's part of my sump but I haven't gotten a pump on it.

No problem. I'm no expert, but I share what works for me.

I ordered a new UV sterilizer to put on my tank. It's more established, but I'm fighting marine ich :(
