Everytime you get an ob "anything" you will have agression issues. They are hybrids of mbuna somewhere in thier gene pool so you will have aggression issues. My 50 gallon breeder has 3 yellow blaze and three red empress with some petricola, fish are starting to color up but these fish are almost adults and i have 0 aggression promblems. Make sure you have a lot of cave in the middle of the tank so the fish canswim in and out.

yup, the OB thinks the benga is in competition for mates (this also sparks competition for food). A male will do anything to ensure his genes are passed on! Survival of the fittest and sexual selection at work, only the strongest/most colorful male passes on his genes ;)
